Rose has medium long brown/red hair with blonde underneath. She has grey eyes that accompany her hair. She usually wears a brown vest, red crop top, black mini skirt, navy knee high socks, and white arm warmers. In the OVA pool episode she is seen wearing a plain black bikini and her hair is down. Also, during Fairy Tail X Rave she didn't wear her normal outfit but she kept her hair in a side ponytail and wore a strapless white dress with white sandals.
When Rose was younger she was homeless and poor so she couldn't really afford much clothes or food. She was skinnier then she is now and her hair almost touched down to her knees. Her hair was a mess and she just simply wore no shoes, a long white t shirt, and a brown cloak.
When Rose worked for Sabertooth she wore the same outfit she is usually seen in except she didn't have the vest or arm warmers. But, when she got older and after she adopted Sakura she cut her hair to look like her sister Katja's hair. Also, when she got older she wore her brown vest, red dress, and navy leggings.
Rose is usually a quiet and reserved person but if someone pisses her off enough she will get super mad. Rose, Mirajane, and Erza are known as some of the scariest girls in Fairy Tail because of this trait. She is more quiet to Yukino the most since she thinks that Yukino and Sting are dating.
Rose and Mavis get along very well to the point were Sakura started calling Mavis "Aunty Mavis!" whenever she saw her. Rose, even though she is very quiet, ironically gets along with the more hyper people like Wendy and Natsu. Rose is also overprotective over Asca, Wendy, and Mavis because they are so young. Rose thinks of them as little sisters and she doesn't want them to get hurt.
Rose is also said to be like her father (Ryota) while Katja is said to be like their mother (Yuko). Rose shows hatred towards her mother since her mother had an affair with Cana's dad Gildarts (mentioned in episode 102).
